Bio Hello & Welcome!
My name is DevineM27 and, if you haven’t noticed from my profile, I am a science fiction (SciFi) junkie. I haven’t been to a convention…yet, nor do I speak Klingon or wear crazy costumes (and I NEVER will), but I do enjoy well written, acted and produced SciFi television series and movies.
Now, I know there are a few of you out there that have no clue as to what a Shipaholic is, so please allow me to explain:
Shipping 101
Canon – Fictional events, ideas and/or theories established as fact by the artistic creator(s) in a body of work (i.e. books, television series, movies, etc.).
Ship – A potential or canon relation(ship) between two fictional characters. This relationship can be of any nature (i.e. teammates, friends, lovers, etc.).
Shipaholic – Someone who constantly sees potential romantic relationships between favored characters in movies, television series, books, etc.
As you can see, everyone is a bit of a Shipaholic at heart.
This journal is dedicated to not just one show or one ship, but all of the shows and ships, past or present, which I have enjoyed. Here you will find fanfiction, videos and artwork created by, or recommended by, me. You will also find news and information about shows that I currently watch and a few personal notes about my views on current SciFi events.
So, if you’ve decided to stick around, prepare yourself for grammatical errors, a few odd looking manipulations and a technical glitch here or there, but otherwise…..
